Please Pray for Warren Throckmorton
September 18, 2012 /

To those of my readers who know–even if only by name–our dear friend Warren Throckmorton, please pray for him today, along with his wife Debbie and dear family. Warren suffered a heart attack on Sunday, and will be undergoing triple bypass surgery at noon today (Tuesday the 18th). I will keep you posted as I know anything.
Do you know what hospital he is at Byron? Is it in Grove City or did he go to Pittsburgh for it?
Can I do anything concrete to help? Please keep us posted, and my fingers are firmly X’d for a swift and complete recovery.
Of course I’ll keep him in my prayers. I’m going to bookmark this blog. Can you keep us up to date as far as his progress goes? Please.
Yes I will pray for Warren.
here is an update from warren’s blog:

On Sunday Warren had a heart attack. Mild as it was, it led to tests which led to a heart cath which led us to a triple by pass surgery on Tuesday. He came through surgery wonderfully, had a great morning today. He walked some and ate some and then got very tired and then the pain from the chest tubes started. He really is doing great and can’t wait to get those tubes out! We ask for your prayers during this time of recovery and learning! Warren is very determined to follow orders so he can get back to all the things he loves doing! Thanks so much for all the prayers and those to come. We have an awesome God and we are so thankful for his love for us!
Praying for Warren today…
I’m really sorry that I didn’t update this, and Ken, I’m also sorry that I don’t know for sure, but I THINK he is in Butler at a hospital there. Being in GA, I don’t have real-time access to some of the answers, but last I heard, things were going quite well. Thanks, all, for your prayers and concerns!
Oh my gosh! I am so sorry to hear this. I’m praying for you and your speedy recovery.
I am sorry to hear that. I will certainly include him in my prayers.
Byron – Thanks for putting up this post and for asking people to pray. I am now home and in a lengthy recuperation period (e.g., can’t drive for 6 weeks). But I am now much healthier after three clogged arteries were bypassed. Thanks again for the good thoughts and prayers.
