Doesn’t do anything for me. Davy Jones would make my heart skip a few beats, though, or David Cassidy, and they had cool hair!

Oh my gosh, I was looking for a picture of Davy Jones online and read that he’s 5’3″ and his father wanted him to be a jockey.

He probably is 4’9″ by now, people shrink as they age. And I heard the only part of your body that never stops growing are your ears, so now I’m picturing him really short, with big ears…

I’ve decided to remember Davy Jones as he was, just listened to my Monkees CD (yes, I have one), closed my eyes and went back to the 60’s….
Davy was on tour as early as just a couple of years ago. He may even still be hanging around. But he is OLD looking now. Keep remembering him as he was Laurie! And NO Byron, before you say anything, I do NOT have a man-crush on Davy Jones! 🙂

Sadly, alot of my childhood idols are getting scary looking, most haven’t aged gracefully. I guess the best you can hope for is that if they’re going to keep performing they can still sing!
