When I was listening to this guy talk about this “mistake” he made, all I could think was that he didn’t even look embarrassed. It was like he was going thru the motions of addressing it like it was no big deal, and let’s move on.

I’ve heard it referred to as an “honest mistake” – how do they know that? From what I read, he was audited for 2003-2004 and owed $14K plus penalties for money he earned while working for IMF, but he didn’t think to check 2001-2002, and didn’t pay those taxes, with penalties, until just prior to his nomination? IMHO he’s either not so honest or not fit to hold this post.
