But it’s Christmas. Yeh well around these parts it started at halloween. I saw more christmas stuff at halloween, than I saw halloween stuff. I for one,I have boycotted christmas shopping this year. “oh you commie you say”. No I just plain don’t have the funds this year, and it gives me the excuse to opt out on the commercalization of what traditional christan christmas is supposed to be about.
Bah humbug you may ask? No sir, this year I will give gifts, gifts that I built with my hands in my wood shop. I dare say I will not step foot into a store that sells “christmas gifts”. Well that is not true. I had to go into CVS to get another bottle of my “heck I wanna live another day drug”.

Since I’m going Christmas shopping today, this was a timely reminder. I have a budget all set up for Christmas (but in the back of my mind is …. well…I can carry a balance for a month right? One month won’t hurt will it?)

And frankly, no, one month won’t hurt – in fact I’ll have no finance charge since it’s only one month and with an Amazon card I get $$ back in Amazon gift certificates.

But the reminder will keep me in check today.
