It seemed kind of odd to me too that they’re so insistent on being able to marry, but isn’t it funny how sin works; the minute you tell someone they can’t do something that becomes the very thing they must do.

The question of how allowing gays to marry would threaten the traditional concept of marriage made me think of that show “Dancing with the Stars”. The judges are very hard on choreography that incorporates elements of other dances that threaten the purity of the genre; i.e., you may be dancing, but if you’re going to include those moves, don’t call it ballroom dancing.

One of the things that is so beautiful about marriage is God’s blessing and approval; He created men and women with the desire to love each other and bring to the relationship what only a man and woman could bring, and the ability to have offspring that is a part of them. Any other kind of family could only be second best.

I don't think people would be nearly so threatened by homosexuals being joined together if they called it something else.

Homosexuals must insist on being married, or else how could they destroy marriage? That is the instinct of sin. Sin isn't libertarian -- it isn't "live and let live." Everything God has set up must be turned inside out.
