Ha! Sage Rosenfels' cousin, I love it!

My point is that the clown ought to cut the dramatics. Want to keep playing QB? Fine by me; he can play 'til he's 50 and I wouldn't care, and I don't begrudge him the money, either. What's old, and silly for a guy his age, is this on-again, off-again tease.

Could you honestly say that you would not "un-retire" and skip 2-a-days for $12M a year?? Come on....you may not like Brett but you do have to give him credit as a businessman. He is a genius!

And just because ESPN makes a HUGE deal about the situation, don't blame Brett because he isn't TO who looks for cameras to talk into but rather the cameras look for Brett.

And you can also drop the act....we all know that you are only bitter because you are Sage Rosenfels cousin and now he can't get you tickets to see the Vikings for free. Come clean!

I don't CARE if he plays, but the point is that he's just a weenie, that's all. Yeah, he'll make the Vikes better, sure, and boost ticket sales and jersey sales, etc. I don't think he should be barred from playing; I just think he's a total doofus, that's all.

I’m sorry, I just don’t get it. Why is this such a big issue? This is a business deal that a lot of people stand to benefit from. When news broke of Favre's signing yesterday morning, the Vikings sold 2,500 season tickets by the end of the day and 8,000 single-game tickets. There was so much interest in Vikings tickets that Ticketmaster had to set up additional personnel to handle the volume of requests. Say nothing of the several thousand no. 4 jerseys that were already en route from Reebok to be available in the team's three Minnesota Vikings Locker Room stores by today. You said it yourself, Favre is a marked improvement over the “woeful” quarterback situation in Minnesota. Sage Rosenfels? Tarvaris Jackson? John David Booty? That’s who Vikings fans should hang their hopes on? So what if a few thousand Packers fans have their legacy upset. I say if Favre can still perform at least as well as half the starting quarterbacks in the league (and you know he can) then let him play. If you can’t deal with it then don’t watch.
