Upcoming Stuff in My Life

If I get a chance, I hope to post a “Bucket List” of sorts between now and Thursday, some of the stuff I’d yet like to do before I kick the bucket.  Lord willing, I’ve got a few years to pull those things off…

But in the near term, a few things happening in my life:

  • Sunday, Practically-Perfect Daughter has planned my 50th birthday party, and a number of friends are coming.  That’ll be fun.
  • I’ve landed the role of William Henry Blore in the Towne Lake Arts Center’s production of Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None, scheduled for the last two weekends in October.  This will be my fourth role with TLAC, and rehearsal begins tomorrow evening.
  • I’ll be speaking at Grace Community Church, Marietta, one week from Sunday.  This church is likely going to be our “landing place”, and with Pastor John in Kenya and the associates away, he asked me if I’d fill in.  Wonder if it’s like riding a bicy
  • We’ll be heading to Michigan for Christmas, but also to celebrate the in-laws 50th wedding anniversary.  I could hardly ask for better in-laws, and it’ll be fun to celebrate with them.

Just finished reading the book. Personally I prefer Christie’s original ending to the amended theatrical version, but what a great story. A word of warning. You might want to consider wearing a hard hat while walking under balconies.
