Proof 1:  Having announced two months ago that I’d like to finish up with 2000 total posts, and that I’d only need about one post a day (or less) to reach it, this is post 1979.  Even wanting to do this, and with a reachable goal, I couldn’t muster the wherewithal to pull it off, and won’t now, barring a small miracle.

Proof 2: Nobody seems to be reading much anymore, as judged by comments.  This makes it easier to quit as well!

I read but don’t comment much. Liked the one the other day about a conversation you over heard. I agree with you on the buildings and salaries. Just moved to Denver and hope to do things differently. Keep up the good work.

Knew you were planning on moving; glad you’re out there, and God’s best to you as you serve Him!!!! You’ll love CO (we lived there for two years in the mid-80s).

I don’t always comment either; as I’ve said before, you do such a thorough job of presenting your views that I often can’t think of anything to add. Guess I should at least say “amen”, though.

I’ll miss coming here – you’ve talked about leaving it up and maybe posting an article now and again – is that still a possibility?

You know me. Always reading and never without a comment. Opinions aren’t worth having unless you can share them. After all, I’ve gotta reach 600 comments before this thing comes to an end.
