Watch the video (including a great riff by Glenn on the ridiculous cap-and-trade bill that will greatly harm our economy–while enriching government–just what we need):
Then go to the website. OK, she’s the governor of Alaska, but my oh my, what a great lady to balance the ticket!
What about Mr Huckabee?
I’m having second thoughts about an all-white guy ticket. Political expediency, perhaps? Sure, I s’pose so.
Huckabee’s a turn-off to me. I liked him somewhat at first, then came to feel he was unctuous and underqualified. He coddled the liberals while he was head of the Arkansas Baptist Convention. He plays both sides of the fence, which I feel a lot of my evangelical Southern Baptists colleagues here in KY do. I thought his recent public shout-out that he wants to be McCain’s VP was tacky and unprofessional. Strategically, I think a person like Palin would knock a lot of wind out of Obama’s sails; and you don’t further turn off the Evangelical voters by picking a slickster like Romney.
