Sarah Palin would be my choice for vice-president. Read the cool story about this awesome lady:

Welcome to the World, Trig Paxson Van Palin

Heck, she might be my choice anyway. What a wonderful face for the conservative movement.

So, if you would be happy to see Sarah Palin as Vice-President, I assume you’d be OK with her holding a more powerful position…

It is interesting that women who have made it to the top in powerful nations have come from the political right, e.g. Lady Thatcher in Britain and Angela Merkel in Germany. While the left talks about quotas and special treatment, the right simply gets on with treating women politicians the same as male ones.

It wasn’t until I was 18 that I had to get used to the idea of a man running a country!

Absolutely! My opposition to Mrs. Bill Clinton has everything to do with her politics and nothing to do with her gender. I’d love it if it were Republicans who broke the gender barrier with regard to the presidential ticket. It was Republicans who broke that barrier relative to the U.S. Supreme Court (Reagan appointing Sandy O’Connor–not a great choice, but nonetheless, a Republican), giving to a woman a previously-unreached level of importance politically.
