That may be the choice that parents are faced with, given the recent ruling by a California court that effectively ruled homeschooling illegal except for parents with teaching credentials. Here’s Al Mohler’s take:

A Bolt from the Blue

Granted, this decision will likely be stayed, pending appeal, and there is further the likelihood that if a higher court upholds the ruling, there will be legislation to correct the horrid decision. But a real question surfaces: will people have to flee California to come to America for religious freedom, like so many of our forefathers? That would seem to be a possibility.

Oh, in case you’re wondering, I count 48 states now. California and Massachusetts? Foreign countries, sez me.
