James Dobson to Endorse Mike Huckabee

I’m guessing that Dobson, in his defense, didn’t see Huckabee as viable for a long time, but with the momentum that has swung to Mike in Iowa, placing him in the top tier of candidates, and with the fact that no other top-tier guy is very appealing at this point, and with the fact that Dobson needlessly dissed Fred Thompson (and thus pretty much ruled out supporting him), Mike became his guy. I don’t always agree with Dobson, but he’s a good man, and I think his endorsement will carry some weight, much more than Pat Robertson’s confusing decision to go with Rudy (thereby decreasing whatever remaining relevance Pat had).

Tip of the Wahoos’ hat to Warren Throckmorton for this one.

Dobson should take note that Huckabee became viable without FOTF’s endorsement.

    Excellent point, Mark!

  3. Alas, the story appears to be either

    1. a leak that made it out too soon or
    2. simply untrue…
